Dr. Jim Toner Atlanta Georgia Infertility Specialist
In 2000 the Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine acquired Dr. Jim Toner MD. He came from the esteemed Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine located in Norfolk,VA. before coming to the Atlanta,GA. Dr.Toner while at the Jones Institute he was the director for the Third Party Reproduction Program and is continuing his work on this at ACRM.
Dr.Toner is board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, he graduated in 1985 from the University Of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Toner while pursuing his Residency at the Jones Institute received the Resident of the Year Award in 1989, and in 1990 was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha a prestigious medical honor society. Dr. Toner’s research in ovarian reserve and its impact on fertility is an area that he is well known for. He also specializes in the area of recurrent miscarriages and with his doctoral training in psychology he brings the understand of the emotionally side of this with his practice. Dr. Toner has won many awards during his practice, which he has been practicing for 27 years.
Dr.Toner’s clients rate him as excellent. They are many who state that they find him very knowledgeable and that they do not feel like a number but a human during the appointments. There are clients who have stated that he answers questions very thoroughly and in a way, you can understand. If you have questions he does not mind answering them and provides a warm smile, he has been noted saying “it’s not a matter of if you will get pregnant but when” that gives some patients hope.
Dr.Toner always seems hopeful when working with clients but does not give false hope, clients have said he is amazing and seemed to be willing to answer emails, and provided outcomes that were probable with procedures that could be done. There were some clients who have indicated he would listen to their concerns and take into consideration what they have to say.
